So, I went to check that my ParaGuard IUD was still in place today via ultrasound (it is, but it's slipped a little low -- gotta keep an eye on that!), and was told I have cysts on my ovaries. I am getting bloodwork done Monday to find out if it's PCOS. I am really scared that it is. I know it's not a life-threatening disease, but it's a life-quality destroyer. I specifically went off hormonal birth control to a) get my sex drive back, and b) become more fully HCRV. If I have PCOS, I may have to go back on hormonal BC, or I could experience extreme weight gain (and I REFUSE to gain tons of weight, thanks very much).
I was wondering if any women here have PCOS, and how they've managed it on the HCRV lifestyle. I know that this way of eating cures and keeps in check many ailments, so I am hopeful it helps with PCOS, too. Any answers would be very much appreciated.
