gotta disagree here. tho I do always keep my ratio like 20 dates and maybe 1 or 2 bananas. or 7 bananas or so and maybe just 4 or5 dates to sweeten the deal. I never do a 50/50 type ration as I dont want flavor to be overbearing to the other when it comes to mixing these 2.
Nope...you're on your own. Drinking bananas, dates, spinach and blueberries now :)
we're all entitled to our preferences, but this one works for me. if anything, the nans can help balance out the mighty sugar punch of pure dates. Fortunately, there's like a million other smoothie combos out there for all of us :)
I don't like pure banana smoothie; I don't like pure datorade; but I love the banana-dates smoothie ! It reminds me of sweetened condensed milk. I usually put 12-15 dates (mazafatis, I think they are at least 30 calories each) and 6-9 bananas depending on their size. Then I may flavor it by adding some frozen fruits like berries (all kinds) or mango. Delicious. Been my usual second meal of the day lately.
