Ok, so I started eating Raw 'Till 4 three weeks ago. I feel amazing, and I have so much energy, and it's going really well! The only thing I'm wondering is if I'm getting enough calories. I'm a 18 year old girl, I go to school 4 days a week, I work out 5-6 days a week (for 40-60 minutes), I'm 5'3 and weight about 90 lbs. I have a history of eating disorders (Anorexia).
During the first week I didn't eat enough calories (About 2000 a day), and i lost about 4lbs. (Which was probably just water weight) I've been eating 2500-3000 calories a day during the last two weeks, but I haven't gained any weight at all. Considering that I do alot of exercise and also need to gain weight, should I be eating more than 3000 calories a day? I feel great eating this amount, but is it enough to gain the weight I need to be healthy?
I know it will probably take some time to gain the weight back, but I was just wondering if I should be eating more because I have to gain weight, or if I'll eventually gain weight on 3000 calories a day?
Here is a good list to go by...How do i know im not eating enough calories from fruit? - 30 ...
Well, according to that list I'm getting enough calories most of the time! I guess I'll start gaining the weight I need after a while. Thanks!
Yeah if you're in doubt just eat a little bit more..make a point not to calorie restrict...
