Snack- 2 small apples
Lunch- 6 large apples
Dinner- 20 medjool dates
I'm 17 and i exercise 6 days a week. (mostly hot yoga and indoor cycling classes)
I want to lose 10-20 pounds
I've been on and off this diet for the past couple days and I want to go 100% starting tomorrow forever.
No such thing as too much fruit! You're eating about 2,800 calories (going by the standard medjool date size) which is good. How heavy & tall are you & How much exercise? You might even need more.
The great thing about carbohydrates is more calories you eat, the easier it is for your body to let go of the weight :) Going by my personal preference, I'd switch the lunch of apples though and put something easier to digest, like peaches or mango. Also for dinner add in a nice big green salad, about a pound of greens a day is the standard guideline and I tend to crave more when I'm eating dates. You''re doing great so far. & make sure to drink lots of water since dates can be dehydrating. :)
that would be good, but you're gonna need 1-2 lbs of greens, maybe even more because youre eating mostly dates which are pretty low in protein. try and eat 2+ whole heads of lettuce a night with dinner and just focus on getting enough calories and being healthy; the weight will come off with time
