So I'm new to the 811 diet and have been in and out of it due to my hectic schedule and not having the amounts of produce stocked in the house to follow the plan... BUT! I do eat more raw and juice 3 times a week. I'm big on green smoothies as well.
So a few months ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This came as a bummer to me because for the past year, I have been training for my very first Figure/Bikini Show as a Vegan. The weight wasn't coming off no matter how much exercise I did nor how low I took my calories.
I now have my thyroid in check, by latest blood work results look great!! very exciting!! BUT, now with the symptoms that I'm still experiencing (no weight loss, irritability, exhaustion, hair loss, a midsection that blows my mind!!! and others...) my Dr. is thinking that my Adrenal Glands are fatigued. Another big problem!! Lol...
My question is, is there anyone here who has had adrenal fatigue and reversed it with the 811 plan or raw food plan itself?
This would be of much help to me to hear from all of you on this subject.
