30 Bananas a Day!

Hello everyone,
What is your opinion on starting 80 10 10 while having adrenals
exhaustion? Is fasting first mandatory in this case?
I tried searching for it online, Dr Graham's interviews, but I couldn't find
anything about it.

Well fasting is going to exhaust your adrenals even more
The best way to correct any type of exhaustion is to rest. The degree of rest and the duration depend on the severity of the exhaustion. What lifestyle factors might be causing your adrenals to be over worked? Stress? Dietary choices? Sleep habits?

Sleeping more and resting more will inevitably help your adrenals.
Eating more simply will also help.

If it were me, I would try these first.
So, you think I should get my adrenals in order first by sleeping, resting and eating more, and then
going 80/10/10?
Sleeping and resting more will definitely help.

Eating 80/10/10 will also help.

Why not do both?

Have you read the 80/10/10 Diet book yet Nemo?
Are you familiar with mono meals?
I have read the book.
I have read many different sources on AF (adrenal fatigue), and most of them agree that fruit should be minimized (due to blood sugar fluctuation), but not sure what would Dr Graham say about this, or people on 80/10/10.
I want to start 80/10/10 as soon as possible, AF is the only thing holding me up.
There shouldn't be any extreme blood sugar fluctuations on 80/10/10
Nemo if you really want to know what Dr. Graham thinks, write him a message on his Vegsource board. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help.

Thanks, Cam.
Don't fast, that can make is worse. 80-10-10, good water, and tons of sleep and rest!
Read the last couple of pages of this thread. Explains adrenal exhaustion a bit
http://www.30bananasaday.com/forum/topics/811-warrior-diet-in-colle.... Fruit fuels the body so the adrenals don't have to exhaust themselves

This is what Doug told me (I have adrenal fatigue too)

There are 2 types of people with adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue etc.

1) The people who recover from making lifestyle changes ie eating 811, sleeping enough and resolving issues causing the stress.

2) the people who will need an extended fast in order to recover.

Doug recommended I tried the lifestyle changes first (it's been 2 years now). And when I asked him again about my adrenal fatigue symptoms, he said "I think you have a fast in your future"

I am going to Costa rica in less than 3 weeks to Fast with Doug!!!! YAY. After much backwards and forwards with my decision..

What did you decide to do?

I'm increasing my calorie intake and giving it a few months. Also, have fun in CR, let me know how it goes.
