My 8 year old son has ADHD. He is a rambunctious little animal that loves carbs & has bad gas (REALLY BAD). My aunt recently said take him off the carbs it will help.. and I said OKAY! I am eating a vegan diet right now.. half RAW (I really try.. but I am broke right now and just moved to a new city.. otherwise I would eat always RAW). I bought some dry chickpeas thinking they would be a good alternative for him but now reading.. I realize they are going to make him more gassy then he already is.. I feed the kid rose water all the time.. I need some good ideas for kid friendly vegan/raw vegan recipes that he will actually eat. I made him a salad the other day all cut up veggies with squeezed orange on top.. he picked out what he wanted but didn't really eat the rest. Last night he ate the brown and wild rice I made him with grilled zucchini and other veg.. but I don't know if brown rice is one of those carbs he should or shouldn't be eating! :| HELP!
