30 Bananas a Day!

I just can't do without them, is this normal? I put myself to a challange (which I started a discussion on) of eating only high fat, low carb raw vegan plant foods and felt like death. My fruit cravings were so intense, I couldn't wait till it was over. Is this normal? I don't want anything else but fruit and vegetables?

Well, that's what we're designed to eat, so consider yourself lucky!

Prior to this diet I had experimented with high fat, low to super low carb. Knowing kinesthetically what it feels like to run the body/mind off both independently, I no longer crave fat what so ever. Simple sugars are much better fuel for mind and body IMO. Plus theirs lots of other beneficial elements that accompany fruit, compared to most fat sources...

Did you lose weight on a high fat? How did you feel? I felt less bloated and overall probably ate less, but definately didn't have as much energy.

I had indeed lost a little weight from my previous eating habits, however that was just because I was eating considerably less calories. Fat is more satiating due to it taking longer to digest, that and when restricting carbs it's easier to go into "hibernation" and lose appetite, thus making it "easier" to restrict calories. However I don't consider weight loss from such a success, those were my most gloomy days...

Eating fruit I naturally eat more but I'm more active (thus I balance out the same); it's actually fun for me to be active, not a drag which I have to force myself to do. I can Persue my passion of wing-Chun and such. My vitality is so much higher then before.

Fatty foods are more caloric dense, thus will distance the stomach less. Digestion vigor should improve with time, however...

That's a great problem to have :) I wouldn't read too much into it as an 'addiction' - I too tried some high fat diet when I thought I craved it and it really has just made me feel sick and drained. Now I know high carb is always the way to go
