For anytime you felt down trodden,
Or someone told you this diet just wouldn't work,
Or that there is not enough protein in your diet,
Or you wondered just how good the low-fat raw vegan diet was,
Here you may find solace.
Share this video with anyone who ever doubted it, or anytime someone tries to spread lies about a low fat raw vegan lifestyle. As they say, the cat is out of the bag, and it sure as hell ain't going back in.
I LOVE videos like this, especially when I'm trying to get myself motivated to stick with it! I have a question about Erin Maubray though...Is she following 80-10-10? I just read an article about her http://www.omegahealthblog.com/2011/09/16/erin-moubray-wbff-champio... and this is what she said is her typical day of eating:
6 am- 1/2 cup oatmeal with 1 scoop vegan protein power
8:30 am- Vegan Protein powder and water with an apple
11 am- huge green salad with cucumber, sprouts, red pepper, quinoa, seitan (vegan protein) and apple cider vinegar.
1:30 pm- 3 oz of fish with chopped veggies and some almonds
4 pm- Vegan protein shake
6:30 pm- Same salad as I had at 11 am
9 pm- cut up cucumber in apple cider vinegar- or a shake depending on how hungry I am!
Also, that's can't be right? can it? Doesn't seem like enough calories to me for all of the workouts she does.
*Marisa, avoid getting distracted by just one person's transition over to a healthier lifestyle. Focus more on the long termers and what make sense to you.
Do you really need a zillion people doing something before you decide in your heart that it makes sense? I dont, I just go with what my heart and taste buds says is right. I cross check that with my legs on up the hills and everything just works out.
* Your right, its not enough cals BUT it could be. I mean when I say 'Im having a smoothie' most people think yeah 150-300cals NOT 1500-3000 like my typical smoothy is.
All my fitness model friends BINGE hard after shows. They aint proud of it and not many people know about it but its a reality when you starve to get down to unnatural body fat and hydration levels.
i would agree that one should focus on their own transition and not be distracted. However Marisa brings up a point or maybe I am reading into it. is the fact that 8/1/1 promoters grab onto any bit of evidence that it works, even if the person has only been doing 4 months or less like Eric the Athlete/fitness model. What is misleading for women (psychologically) is Erin in her vid as well as the host are making it appear as tho Erin got all her results just from 8/1/1. but she didn't. And who knows how long she will go if it truly has been only a few months prior to the vid that she did go all 8/1/1. We want to see people that have been doing it longer and that were perhaps not all ripped pre-raw or 8/1/1. Now THAT in Inspiring . and everyone could use Inspiration. <3.
Absolutely amazing! I love this video, really good for motivation :D
Thanks for posting!
