Time to get your raw on folks! For the next 30 days, EACH DAY please come here and record what you eat, your exercise, water and sleep and encourage others to stay on track. DAY 1:

Bfast: 10 banana smoothie
Lunch: 1 head of iceberg lettuce with 20 dates
Dinner: 1/2 jakfruit (med) and a kg of snow peas
(good to include calories)

Exercise: 10km easy jog

Water: 3litres

Sleep: 9 hrs. 

Feelings: Optional

Wonderful news! I'm so glad you had the opportunity to share with your mum and especially that she understood your lifestyle! That's brilliant!

I just got your video on this last night so Im going to give it a try. This is day 1 for me.

so far....

1 peach

8 strawberries

handful blueberries

1/2 banana

small amount of almond milk sweetened with dates

10 peaches for lunch

6 macadamia nuts

6 peaches and a small salad of romaine, basil, tomato, celery and lemon for dinner

snack 4 peaches and 1 date

1 liter of water 

Good evening from Europe,

Day 5 : 29th of june
Bfast : 500ML orange juice + 800g Cherry + 6 banana
Lunch : 4 bananas + 1,2Kilo of fresh figs
Dinner : 160g dates + 11d almonds + 200g apricot + Salad (lettuce, parsley, tomato)
total calories (cronometer) : 2800

Water : 3L

Exercice : 20min jogging in the Hills

Sleep : 9h

Oops, where has my previous post gone?! Sorry about this, I must have hit the wrong key.

Anyway, DAY 5 (29/6/2012):

Food - 4 plums, 200g mango, 5 bananas, 8 dates, 1/3 head of lettuce, pumpkin seeds, 500g eggplant, 500g tomatoes, 200g zucchini, 1/8 cup cashew nuts, 1k watermelon

2058 calories or more, 80/14/5? I'm not so sure as I ate out at lunchtime. The salad was good but I'm not very good at guesstimating so these numbers are just an average.

Sleep - I had a good night's sleep last night.

Water - more than 3 litres

Exercise - I'm going to do some yoga for 15 minutes

Feelings - I'm feeling fine. I'm especially relieved that my lunch at the restaurant went on quite well. My friends were very open-minded and we went to a vegetarian / vegan restaurant where we thought it would be quite easy to get a good salad. However, the waiter seemed quite reluctant to change anything on his menu. With a little persuasion I finally got it. But there was no fruit salad available as a dessert!

Tonight, I've made the nuts-bellpepper recipe I saw on The Raw Food World site. It's supposed to be 1 red bellpepper + 1 cup of macadamia nuts but of course I couldn't help twisting it. Thus I used 1/4 cup of cashew nuts (soaked for 2 hours) for 2 small red bellpeppers and used my food-processor with the S-blade before blending it with some of the soaking water. It was quite good with the raWtatouille (eggplant + tomato + zucchini) and my baby daughter loved it and kept dipping her fingers in it. Success!

Exercise: 1/2 hour rowing

15 navel oranges

42 medjool dates

Approx 3500 calories.

9-10 hours sleep. 

Hi everyone.  Day 5 - June 29th

B- Incredible delicious.  Megan Elizabeth's Strawberry Bread Pudding my sytle.
  3 dates, 16 oz strawberries, blended and poured over
  7 gold kiwi, 1 c. raspberries, 9 yummy figs

L - Megan's Mango Chutney:  2 C. Mangoes, 3 C. Tomatoes, 2 medjool dates, a few gr. onions, cilantro & basil
   Put over my Large salad of Romaine lettuce w/ 2 C. sweet corn, arugula, & cukes

S - Half a watermelon and half a cantaloupe. 

2371 calories   87/7/6

Exercise - 5K run in near 100% humidity (like running in a suana).  Whew!!  15 minutes of floor/weight exercises with my 8lb Medicine ball.

Water - 4 quarts

Sleep - 6 1/2 hours.  Crappy sleep - snoring hubby!!


Feelings - Accomplished so much today.  Feel great but a bit tired from not sleeping great last night.  So blessed!!

Nicole UK here Day 5 of raw challenge

This morning the usual 4 apples(Gala,Braeburn,PinkLady,Gala)+1pear+Romaine smoothie

4 bananas sliced with grapes

Salad of sliced sweet potatoes+cuc+tom+gemlettuce+Zucchini

snack fruit salad of 1/2 peach+1/2 flat peach+1 apricot +wild strawberres+a few grapes

Dinner smoothie of Romaine+carrots with 4 sliced bananas in it.

Slept 9 hours

I am beginning to feel less heavy than before the challenge physically and mentally. It's great !

Day 5

 

Woke up at about 4:00 a.n. and decided to go for a run.  Only ran 1/2 mille because there was major lightnig and thunder, and it felt great!

 

Made a quart of org. honeydew melon juice and it tasted just wonderful!.  Listened for some Guidance then went back to bed for about 1 1/2 hours so about 5-5 1/2 hours sleep and felt great all day.

 

Morning

Haitian mango

 

2 bananas

 

Middy

some Mamey sapote, a good one

 

About an hour of landscaping work and a little swimming.

 

Later afternoon

more Mamey

Salad with spinach, H. mango,2 plum tomatoe, some avocado

 

Evening

Same salad and some more Mamey

Day 5

Breakfast : banana dates smoothies

Lunch : 10 bananas smoothie

Dinner : big salad with orange dressing

Total calories : 2500

Exercise: Walking all day at work

Water: 2 litres
Sleep: 9.5h

Day 5 

Nutrition for today: 1450 Calories consumed. 60% of nutrient targets achieved

What does it mean that I ate 411% fat and 169% carb? I'm eating too much fat? I see nothing wrong in eating nuts and seeds .
