bunch of dates in a blender, fill with water, add 6-7 leaves of fresh mint, a dash of natural organic vanilla extract...let soak 5 minutes, blend into a vanilla-mint datorade! *drool* soooo yummy!
also, frozen bananas, chilled strawberries, (i did 10 of each) with 10 leaves of mint, toss em in the food processor, serve as ice cream with a sprig of mint to make it pretty, enjoy!
there is a difference between mints - here are pics of peppermint & common mint.
i eat peppermint raw in my salads and absolutely love it, it has a tender smaller leaf, sweet, aromatic but not as profuse as common mint.
this is common mint, its a bit tougher larger leaf and not as sweet but its a profuse grower so its easier to get and a popular alternative.
I have mint in my garden and it took over like crazy, Not particularly a bad thing, i like mint tea.
