"I fear not the man that knows 10,000 kicks, but I fear the man that has practiced 1 kick 10,000 times."
The challenge is to see how long it takes you to do 10,000 pushups. They must be good form and you can rotate between different types, regular, hindu, handstand, spiderman, etc but your form must be good. The point is not to rush to 10,000 but to become 10,000 pushups stronger! To keep count you tally every set of 10 that you do throughout the day and tally every 1,000 too, I use a small chalk board. When you hit 10k the challenge becomes do it again but you must be faster!
I'm currently on day 29 and I'm on 2370. I want to do it in 100 days or less but I'm behind right now but I'm getting stronger so I expect I'll catch up and exceed the 100 average per day.
Log in with me! I know you guys can get some mean times down for this!
250 a day @ 40 days!!! start next week!!
Week 1: 140, It's going to take me a while to get to 10,000!
1/2 - 50 reps - 9860 to go.
7/2 - 50 - 9709 to go. Some shoulder and chest definition coming in. Also core starting to feel more stable when running long distances or doing speed work.
okay im joining the challenge! I guess I will give myself 100 days! I will be doing 25 four times a day! :-)
Okay, Im in. I have to do something, especially since just going up a flight of stairs has me out of breath. I'm not necessarily overweight, just REALLY out of shape! It's going to take me a very long time (I can do ten on a good day!) but I'm hoping to increase the amount I am able to do rather quickly.
jesus, at this pace it's gonna take me months, not sure why I even keep track anymore. Not that I couldn't do more, just that I'm also other strengthening exercises.
Can we make teams and combine our pushups?
Haha I like that idea! I'm only at 15 since I posted :(
