We are continuing to schedule these meet ups as we have been having so much fun the last few weeks! One concern we have is that there has been limited attendance. There have been people who have not RSVPed as well as people not on this site that have attended. If you are on the fence, please consider joining us! We are changing it up a bit this week!
You are invited to come and join in some raw-vegan fruit and veggie fun this Saturday, May 25th, in Boulder, Colorado! We have three different connecting events planned throughout the day:
1) a run (and possibly some cycling to follow) at 7am
2) a fruitluck at Scott Carpenter Park at 11am
3) a hike from Bear Canyon Trail access point starting at 2pm
You are welcome to participate in just one or all of the activities. Let's synthesize some Vitamin D, eat delicious fruit, and meet new people! You don't need to be a dedicated raw vegan or even a vegan to come and move your body and enjoy delicious fresh fruits and vegetables. Please feel welcome to invite your friends and family and let's have an awesome fruit and carbohydrate emphasized day! :-)
For the run at 7am: The run will start from 2810 East College Ave, Boulder, CO 80303 (it is an apartment and the unit number has been left out for privacy). Following the run, we may do some cycling (we are undecided at this point).
For the fruitluck at the Scott Carpenter Park at 11am: the location of the park is at 30th & Arapahoe, Boulder, CO 80303. There is parking at the northeast corner of the park, just south of the skate park. If you are attending the fruitluck, please bring enough of your best ripe fruit to eat and share! You may also bring a low-fat raw-vegan veggie dish, but please keep it no oil, no salt, no onions/garlic, and no harsh spices. Also, please bring a bowl and other eating utensils.
For the hike from Bear Canyon Trail access point at 2pm: The address is: 1520 Bear Mountain Dr., Boulder, CO 80305.
Please call or send me (Patrick) a text message at 303-668-4289 with any questions and/or for the specific address (unit number) for the start of the run.
For courtesy, please RSVP if you plan to attend.
Hope to see you Saturday!
