Oh sorry to hear that I didn't see the comments on youtube and I think you did do a good job letting the viewer decide. That said I think it has been proven over many years that we don't need to buy manure to build soil fertility so to me it appears pointless and totally against my vegan beliefs. Besides its a waste of money, plenty of wild soil&poop around. Very puzzling to me and perhaps the other youtubers!

I have not recently and do not support purchasing cow based manures from feed lots.  In the video I state that I do use some organically produced manures, which I have used are chicken, duck, bat.  I personally kept my own ducks as pets, and thats how I got the duck manure.  The chicken and bat manure were both certified organic.  That being said, I encourage everyone to grow food according to their beliefs.  This video was ment for the main stream audience to make them conscious of the veganic way of gardening.  There were many negative comments and thumbs down just because of the content.  I feel I did a good job explaing the options and letting the VIEWER decide what they choose to do.  The manures were used in my garden to build soil fertility.

Hi John thanks for another great video, could you elaborate more on your reasons for buying cow manure? Plants grow just fine without it (including mine) so I don't see the point in wasting my money and far more importantly supporting the meat industry/killing etc. If I really thought my plants needed it I would use my own poop or collect some from the wild. I even urinate in the compost occasionally. Have I missed something? Have you seen this website? http://www.stockfreeorganic.net/
