Maybe people shouldn´t be that big and tall. That makes sense, since they eat animals that have been fed with growth hormones.
However, I can tell you that I am small, and that´s not fun. I agree that being large or fat isn´t good either, but being tall is just a real advantage in our society. So, that´s why it concerns me. If I had children, I would prefer, for them, for their well being, that they are taller than me.
All of technology is about compacting the maximum amount of power into the smallest container. I think Jinjee implies her children are like "little brick houses" because the food doesn't force them to grow any bigger than they ought to. Americans tend to be larger than Europeans despite the obvious genetic similarities because the food they eat is higher in fat, protein and growth hormones.
However the world over people eating western diets tend to be bigger than the generation before them. I think we need to seriously address the issue of how tall/big do people really want to get. There are many disadvantages to being very large, and many advantages to being light and nimble.
That´s very interesting. But I was surprised and a bit concerned to hear that her kids are smaller (in height, right?) than other kids.
Have someone ever heard that? that raw vegan children are smaller?
