Makes since, I figured that you probably could do 300 if you really wanted to. 

By the way, when I do a set of squats and then I set the bar back on the rack and step away I suddenly feel some pain in my elbows as well.  (Even if it feels like the weight was perfectly balanced on my back and my arms did nothing to really hold the bar in place.)

Jared Six-  Yeah, it was little overboard, lol!  Already got the 300 lbs, I do sets of 3 of 315, but they aren't that pretty yet. I'd figure I do some extra warmups that day.  I thought it might help, but it was a little overkill.

cloudyknight- that's what I usually do for my warmup, too.  However, I felt I needed the extra warmups that day, which today...eh...was too much, lol!  My working sets are at 280-315.

Chris- thanks.  I'll definitely be improving on the form, I'm really I got to say I'm a newbie with squats.  Any suggestions, because for whatever reason my elbows hurt after this.

That was excellent!  Your legs must be SCREAMING after those kinds of warm-ups.  I can only imagine what you put them through next.  If it's your goal to squat 300 pounds in the near future I don't doubt that you will.

Terrific. Great effort & determination. The most productive exercise movement you can possibly do. Just please watch your form as you go further.
