Comment by Herbivore Lion on July 27, 2012 at 3:41pm There's no question about it. For years I consumed what would be considered a low fat cooked vegan diet but with lots of alcohol. When I gave it up I lost so much weight despite eating the same diet. There are many sites out there trying to convince you that alcohol doesn't make you fat. Ultimately what slows down your system makes you fat. What speeds it up makes you slim.
