I bought a dragon fruit recently from an asian market and it was white inside, too. I wasn't fond of it. It tasted like a bland kiwi/pear combo. I'm really disappointed. I'd like to try that deep red dragon fruit. Looks tasty.

Wow, your dragonfruit is red inside.  Ours here in the Philippines, is a grayish white with black spots (seeds).  But you are right, kiwi is a good comparison.  I just finished eating mine!

kenia, they do sell at asian markets but they are not super sweet.  this is the best place for you to get them: http://www.jourdansbeautifulfood.com/  jourdan's reputation is beyond excellent and you are not too far, so the shipping should go well and you will taste what fruit from paradise should taste like! :)

i live in northeastern US (massachusetts) these im gonna assume dont grow anywhere near my region haha but where could I possibly find dragonfruits?! oh man so jealous you have custard apples too! haha the only time i had that was when I went to Tanzania

Erm, the ''dragon fruits'' I picked up last week (in Birmingham city market uk!) were hot
Pink on the outside, but white on the inside! Not like yours! Weird. But yep I described them to my friend as a kinda sweeter more mellow kiwi. Mellow tasting. They sure aren't mellow looking !
