Comment by Nate on September 10, 2012 at 12:26pm Thanks for sharing Kev. I've been using grounding products for a couple of years and am delighted by the benefits. I've been thinking about making some huaraches out of this pad. These look great though.
Comment by WildBodyKev on September 9, 2012 at 7:01am Hi Miles, I'm not sure about blisters as I don't own the sandals yet. It looks like the toe strap fold over to create a wider softer edge that molds to the contour between your toes. If you are concerned about blistering you could always ask the company and see what they have to say about it, as it looks like they've done a lot of r&d and running in them before deciding to put them on the market for sale.
thanks for the feedback
Comment by Ra Zitrone on September 8, 2012 at 7:14am these are the ones that I use, vegan-friendly, don't have a lace in between the toes, only $25 and lighter than my vibrams, only about 123 grams per sandal, I only use my socks and vibrams for soccer
my socks stopped disappearing since I've been using them, so now I know that it was my fault and not some random lawn gnomes stealing them :P
I've been using the same pair for months now, just went hiking and went in a lake with them yesterday

i wonder if the strap between the toes will demolish the flesh, running long distances. Seems like a risk. Blisters and cutting?
Comment by Windlord on September 8, 2012 at 3:52am thanks, K
ITR, there are some vegan options for us
Comment by InTheRaw on September 7, 2012 at 7:42pm cool but leather? bummer
Comment by WildBodyKev on September 7, 2012 at 5:27pm Here's the page with the pricing: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1287298052/earth-runners-get-gr...
Comment by WildBodyKev on September 7, 2012 at 4:32pm I don't own them yet as they just started their kickstarter campaign. They have released the prices on their kickstarter page and are offering a discount off of what will be their regular pricing. I haven't read the book "Earthing" yet but I will be soon! The sandals were inspired by the book earthing supposedly. The concept makes a lot of sense to me...yet there are many skeptics out there. Great ideas are always first met with a lot of skepticism until they become common knowledge...
Comment by Windlord on September 7, 2012 at 3:41pm awesome find, kev. Do you own some yourself? what think you of them?
but I searched the site and can't find a pricing structure. Do you know how much?
Ever read the ground breaking book Earthing?
