I absolutely loved the quote, I shared it with a friend right away, it sums up so well the why of this whole thing, very inspirational, and I'm very glad I have read it, it's definitely going to go on my "red alert" file that I use for when I'm thinking of falling off the wagon. Thanks! I'm trying a smaller salad (half a head of romaine) and putting a little tahini on it...is that okay? I'm worried about the whole 3 to 6 ratio thing if I eat overt fats. Do I then need flax to counteract the sesame?
I really like the Dr Seuss.I think it's the dates they make me a bit more nauseated too, but I have a hard time not eating them every day I eat them I bet if I stopped the weight would drop off "slowly".
yah yah I know, but I don't want to get told one more time by my meat eating friends "you look like you have gained weight since you went vegan".and 110lbs at 5'2" was not too thin.

Yes I am in Houston and just recently became a member of the co-op but I haven't ordered a box yet because I, actually packing up and heading to Las Vegas for a summer internship... But you better believe I'll be on it as soon as I get back home :]
I have a confession. It is hard to stay 100%. I want to desperately but some days I give in. It's hard to do it when I am the one who does the cooking for the family. (which while they have been eating more fruits, they refuse to do this with me.) On the days that hubby cooks and I stay out of the kitchen then I do great. I can keep my percentages just about perfect. I wish I knew someone that was close to me that had this lifestyle. I think if I had someone to talk to/hang out with then it would be easier. Oh, well. I'll keep fighting on. Lol I'm hoping that when I return to work next month that it will be easier. Hubby and I will be on a different shift schedule and I will go in at 4pm. That will keep me out of the house and kitchen during dinner time which is when I am at my weakest.
