Hey BananaBill! Thanks for checking in. :) I was actually logging on here to ask you a question.... during your recovery phase, what was your exercise like? Curious to know...
Since I posted on the forum I have been making a huge effort to eat more and it's been a revealing experience. First of all, I had been eating much less than I was estimating, probably 2500kcal a day max. Now I'm eating around 3000. It has made a huge difference, about a 25% improvement in how I feel. So, I take it to mean that all the advice was spot on. If I can get up to 4000, maintain it for a while, and also work on getting more sleep (I'm still only getting 7-8 hours), I think/hope I will be headed for full recovery.
Thanks again for sharing your story with me and for the support! It means a lot! :)
Hey! I'm doing pretty okay! Still sick from the cooked food I ate over the weekend though yuck, I'll try not to do that again! I see you live in by Allentown PA? I live right around there back home!
I am going good, main problem i have is just eating enough. Don't want to get too skinny. I guess it's adjusting as i'm not really having craving for fruit, little bit for oranges. Thanks
I think it's important that people can express what they want to here, within reason. We always try to keep the overall goal of the site in mind, encouraging and supporting a HCRV lifestyle. That said, there are HCRV peeps of all different persuasions and we want them to feel each as welcome as the next.
So what we want people to do is to keep posts like that in the off topic area or in the steam room. We don't want a huge glut of off topic posts in the wrong place. As long as the discussions don't devolve into personal attacks, etc. I think and hope it will be OK.
If you start seeing posts in the wrong area or big melees, please always feel free to message me or post to my wall! :)
P.S. I actually can see some value in discussing political things as they impact our ability to live an HCRV lifestyle, but yeah they are not my favorite discussions either. My favorites are seeing people start on this lifestyle and just come alive! That's what keeps me coming back, people's transformations, it's REAL magic and we all have access to it!!! :)
No prob Bill. It sure would! The creation of a Philly group is imminent where I'll post a thread to gather details from everyone. I've been on and off for over a year, underestimating cooked food cravings every time! >_< Back on track as of a few days ago. How about you?
Hello! So what was your impression of the Fruitstock? I've found only very positive things about it. I think my digestion is just getting better in time and with hydration, sleep. I enjoy banana smoothies now. And I feel more energetic. M.

Hey Bill! Yeah man, I've been doing great! I definitely miss hanging with you and everyone else too...I'm so stoked for next year! Haha unfortunately I live in Madison, South Dakota, not exactly warm and sunny during the winter! Actually I live about an hour's drive away from Watertown, SD, the 5th coldest city in the US! It's starting to get cold already, we actually had some frost the last couple of nights. :( So right now I'm really hoping to be able to scrape together enough money to head somewhere like Thailand this winter. I haven't made any plans yet, but if I can get the money I'm definitely splitting! :D
Thanks for the comment on the page! I updated the layout just about a week ago...I had to show my durian love!
Good for you for keeping up with the exercise too Bill! I've been doing pretty well with that as well. I haven't done many early morning workouts recently like I usually do, my body's really been telling me I need to sleep. I'm usually in bed by 8-9 PM, but I've been sleeping like 12 hours a night recently. I feel it's what I need though, I bought Dr. G's Perpetual Health Calendar, and the last three days have all been about getting enough sleep. Maybe he's trying to tell me something. ;)
I'm glad to hear you're back on track with the diet too man, it can be tough sometimes I know. I've found that eating enough calories from fruit makes all the difference. I mean, when I'm super hungry, sometimes other things can seem appealing, but then I go and have a 15-20 banana smoothie and the thought of it just seems distasteful! You'll get there Bill, you've got a lot of heart and determination. :)
I'm actually getting my fruit wholesale from Procacci Brothers in South Philly. It's amazing. I can't believe how cheap everything is! It has definitely made being 811 a breeze. Have you checked it out yet? Definitely worth the trip.
I'm also looking into B12 injections. Although, I'm still a bit apprehensive about puncturing my skin, so for the time being, I'm riding it.
Stay well. Maybe I'll see you at the potluck on the 17th!
Hi Bill, how's it going? Drop a line. Guess, what happend to me: I'm feeling better. Not in heaps, but it's going on there. Hydration is simply so pleasant to me. I was watching the woodstocks' vids and found myself smoothly motivated.
Thank you for the kind words. I think it was the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time :) It is very hard to cook for family and that is where my problem is.. I love salty food and I hope to over come my addition to it.. I have noticed I am getting major heart burn from all the fruit and veggies.. is this part of detoxing>>? Will is subside? This is all very new to me and I am super excited to move forward in my journey..

Hey Bill,
Haven't tried the hand trick yet because I didn't get the pain today at all. Strange.
