Thanks so much for the add anabea! It's nice to know there are HCRV's close by. I'm still transitioning. The plan is to go 100% raw Monday. My son will be with his dad for a week so I wont have to cook! Hope you dont mind if I hit you up for support and information from time to time.
My transition has been interesting. I went 100% over night in December and aside from a few pickles here and there I've stuck to it. I got horrible skin the first few months and only now can I wear next to no-makeup and feel okay, which I've never been able to do in my life. Digestion is getting better slowly but surely. I was quite constipated at first, but am now going about 2-3 times a day. I still love bananas no matter how many I eat, about 15-20 a day. I've been living this way for about 6 months now, 2,500+ and have had some weight gain, but I know this will eventually leave. Freelee was quite a bit larger than she is now after one full year of being 100%, so I have faith.
Class produce is in Jessup: http://www.classproduce.com/ Between BW Parkway and 95, so really easy to reach. If you email Tina at TSulewski@classproduce.com, she can send you the list(s) (one each for organic and regular, as you prefer) each week.
I am an Acupuncture Physician which in Florida is a primary care physician. Unfortunately in FL Naturapaths have been outlawed. The only legally licensed one is over 100 if they are still alive. I have had much success with people with headaches. My website is IAm-Healthy.com. Thanks for asking. Check out my healthier choices page for info on GMO's and hpw to grow your own food and buy hopefully non GMO seed. Remember organic does not mean non-GMO. Organic is a growing method and not the seed stock.
Thank you! I like your name "anabea". Soooo cute! Girl about that education, you just have to just go on and do it. I was afraid I was too old but found that I had much wisdom to offer. So stop procrastinating and do it, baby...
Hello and welcome to the banana boat! I'll get back to you on the skype buddy, I'll try to make time for a skype 'workout' with you, but my usual routine is to workout early in the morning. Not sure you'd be ok with my early bird hours.
I found out about 811about 3 years ago, but was not ready to go raw again because of previous bad experiences and other dependences/issues. I have been vegan for 9 years, focusing on high carb with lots of fruit for a year and 100% raw since nov 1st of this year. Thanks for the kind words!

Thank you, beautiful Anabea! I will be glad to talk with you. Feel free to email me @ julieyoga@mindspring.com. We can start talking today . . . surely it will be wonderful to share some ideas and experiences! ♥
Hi Anabea, I have been on and off 811 for about a year now. My struggles revolve around my family. I have 2 small children ages 3 and 6 who are not vegan. My son is extremely picky and will only eat bananas, apples, carrots and peas. He is a meat, bread and dairy eater, It really breaks my heart and spirit trying to get him to eat healthy. He is also on the very slim side and doesn't hold on to weight. My daughter is more likely to turn vegan. She is open to most vegetables, but is still eating processed food along with some meat and diary. My husband thinks I am nuts and an extremist for going raw and has at times been very unsupportive. I am on the skinny (fat) side and would like to tone up and lose some flab. My husband is on the heavy side and continues to believe that he can eat what ever he wants, but just needs to lower his calorie intake. All I can say is that it is difficult if you don't have a partner that supports your healthy lifestyle. I have also had slips to cooked food, mostly sweet potatoes, fish and rice. I feel like crap when I eat a non-811 diet, so I just pick myself up and dust off and get right back to it. Exercise always makes me feel great, except of couse the day after I have eaten to much fat or anything cooked. Salt has also been something that I really need to eliminate. I love salsa / Pico de Gallo is my favorite and I know if It is store bought (freshly made) that is probably has added salt. Plus Jalepeno and onion are not considered 811 (they cause mucus.... BAD). So yes I have a ways to go with this lifestyle. I have been reviewing Arnold's Way YouTube videos as well as Durian Riders. Truly inspirational!
