Tons more. FL peaches, jackfruit, still some citrus, just to tell you what's growing in FL :) You would've loved DeLand. It's further North than my home in St. Pete and they had more local peaches than we've got here. I'm thinking of planting some of the peach seeds I've got!
Sounds like an awesome weekend to me! Eating a lot of fruit is amazing! It's great to jam and enjoy yourself! Basketball and health are my two main interests. Other than that, technology, riding & using my bike to get around, meeting new people, traveling, and going out of my comfort zone to grow are my interests.
Ha, well that's unfortunate! Guess it's meant to happen sometime in the future.
My friend is pleasantly aware of citrus. I've learned quite a bit about it the last few seasons too. The sun is always nice and the rain is now coming in. Hopefully the weather gets better over there in Philly! :)
Yeah I know about the importance of the carbohydrates. But it's just really difficult for me to stuff the carbs in plain from other sources than like, dates. Which I rarely have enough of, something I will have to improve on for sure. I've tried plain potatoes and rice but I just cannot make myself eat it. So what I have sometimes is some sort of egg-free, whole wheat (not that I know if it makes a difference if it's whole wheat or not) pasta and then make a sauce for it. I'm very unhappy and disappointed about that. :/ Processed grains, oil, salt and onions/garlic are keeping me from my goal and make me feel and look like crap. But like I said earlier I think dates will be my rescue. Trying to keep a PMA. :P Cronometer is also great.
Cool! It's like I can feel your positivity even from your writing. :D
I've still been struggling with eating enough and eating the right things but I'm trying to stay strong and fruity. I might not be able to be fully high carb raw until summer but I'll try anyways, dates to the rescue. :)
I LOVE YOU. You are great. Thank you for posting about the ridiculousness. I think that those of us who went through HELL because of an ED can truly understand why those posts are ridiculous. It's amazing how many people, how SO MANY PEOPLE don't understand (maybe never will) how self-love, self-care, nourishment of spirit and mind, will naturally lead to weight stabilization, with no effort or input. SO SIMPLE. Damn. I, too, gained a lot of bloating and swelling when I began recovery. I already learned those principles before I started this diet. Could that be PERHAPS why I'm not experiencing weight gain or crazy bloating or terrible constipation or freaking out about how many calories I'm eating? HMMM... Not counting calories, not weighing myself, and listening to my body have never failed me. Thank you for being honest and forthright. You're a gem. Let's litter the site with positive posts!!
You're oh so welcome for everything! West Palm is about 3 and a half hours away. Haha that will happen someday :)
That's cool that you have a mac! I have some experience with iMovie and would be glad to help you out. For Skype all you need to do is go onto skype.com and download it and signup. You have a webcam right? If so you have everything you'll need for me to do a video session with ya :)
Seeing my friends is really fun. It's funny how they stay the same and great at the same time :) I'm staying with a friend who grew up on a citrus grove, so he does know about fresh fruit. He's not HCRV, but he's really cool and has some of the best citrus on the planet!
We'll have to play someday! I need to back to the court more often myself. Been traveling too much! The Hornets will run much better once the new owner gets approved and everything. I wish you luck in getting things rolling with making your interests make you money. Do you have a mac? If so, it's super easy to make a video and edit it with iMovie! If not even, it's easy and I'm willing to skype u or w/e you need to help :) How's your computer literacy?
I got back from NC yesterday afternoon. It was nice over there! I live in St. Petersburg, FL, but actually am traveling again today. Gonna spend a few days at the college I dropped out of in DeLand, FL. Seeing old friends!
Why thank you, gorgeous! I bought a bunch of fake flowers that look very real from a lady at a farmer's market in Napa, CA. By the way, your picture of your citrus juicer made me giggle because I have the exact same one. Love the pics (I LOVE CATS)! You're awesome.
Thanks. Sounds tough, but fun. I'm still figuring out what I wanna do too. While that feeling is held by many (me included), you just have to start. While that sounds simplistic, that's the way to do it. Start, in some way. Do a YouTube video, something to get you going. Maybe some feedback you receive will get you up & running. It WAS a huge conflict of interests, that's why I wrote about it and was happy it happened! Cool, I used to play soccer too, it's a lovely game. Maybe we'll play basketball sometime and I can get you more interested in it :)
That's a great price! Hope you like my blog. I'm into basketball, playing and covering it. Soccer would be my 2nd fav and basketball is the only way I really play these days. I've been blogging since I was nine, so it just grew from my experience and advertisers contact me. I'm only 18 and I'm a college dropout, so it's my only job, though I may take a part time position soon. Thanks!
