I haven't bothered to use it yet.  I have to wait until I'm in the mood for the bother.  Whatever you read was right, many brands you buy in the health food store are adulterated with nasty chemicals - you might as well use a drugstore dye.  So I did some research and found an American company called http://www.hennasooq.com/.  These people know their henna - they source it from the countries which grow it and their product line is absolutely pure.

I bought online and it got delivered to Canada with no problem and in good time.  I would definitely order from them again.

Henna Sooq has some how-to videos but youtube is filled with henna videos as well.  I've been watching quite a few.

I haven't actually tried the cawfee rinse myself but I've seen youtubes about it.  If I were to try it, I would probably try mixing the powder with coconut oil and letting it sit for an hour before rinsing it out. Others have used liquid cawfee as a rinse after shampooing.  It would at the most give you some interesting highlights, I think, rather than penetrate the hair shaft. It certainly can't hurt your hair, that's the good thing.

I recently ordered a packet of pure henna and indigo from the states.  It's in its purest form and very fresh - absolutely NO additives of any sort.  I haven't used it yet - I need a friend who'd be willing to come over and help me do it! 

That's what happens when you grow bananas near a nuclear station...

Hi Windlord,

I'm new here and not sure how to respond to people's comments.  Forgive me if I repeat myself: with respect to the banana guard, I can safely say you could easily live without it.  A plastic tote would probably be as efficient.  However, if you want to get a larf out of people, then for 5.99 it might be worth buying.

Also, the last banana I tried to fit in there didn't fit!  We must have mutant bananas around here.
