omg, I was just thinking about that like an hour ago down at the living room. I was hanging out with my roommate downstairs just...watching tv. BLAH. so lame really...but it was just something to do. We are so different too. He is a heavy social drinker, likes to wear expensive clothes, spends a lottta $$ on alcoholic drinks, thinks that being rich is living life to the best...me on the other hand am pretty simple, wear comfortable laid back clothes, thinks and cares about the environment, most of my money goes to organic food, but anyway! yea I think that most raw fooders and 811rs have come to this way of living which helps us connect with each other! Sorry, I'm rambling, but yes that is exactly what I was thinking earlier that how freaking awesome would be to live with another raw foodist/811er! and totally began day dreaming while we were watching tv haha. ugh! you know, time will come! when most everyone on this planet heads towards healthy living and come to raw foods. We'll have more easy connections :) and great living. ah wow. haha

Cabrillo college (the community college) is very laidback, teachers are friendly, classes are not so big with # of students, and the campus is not huge.

yea that would be cool! haha be roommies. How fun. Plus! it would make kitchen life so much easier too haha :p

you should deffinitly check out Santa Cruz !

Lot of nature here. You have the beach, hiking trails, local organic grocery stores, farmer's markets, and sunny days. A lot of restaurants here too. There is a lot to do, a lot to see, and a lot to eat.

I also think about the calories I get for the $$. I love how bananas are 19 cents each over here! I get the longest ones :)
Oh yea, I am so thankful to be living in a town were we get farmer's markets like 4 days out of the week. We have two Whole Foods, two Trader Joe's, and two local organic health food stores. It's great!

I go to the community college in Santa Cruz. It is my second year at Cabrillo college. Nice college. 5 minutes from the beach :D

hey omg your name just reminded me of the addiction I had earlier of those Ataulfo mangoes. My body was seriously calling for a feast of them today, but I already bought my fruits yesterday and have to keep an eye out on my spendings. When I run out I'm deffintly having a feast of those creamy yellow mangoes. They're amazzing.

lol anywayyy, how are you doing?

UCSC is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful campuses; which is why i chose it. :)  I'm currently studying neuroscience with an emphasis on molecular processes.  It's pre-med but I'm not sure I want to go into the medical field.  It's insane and corrupt and just a lot of work so I'm thinking about going into research.  It would be really cool to help find or further refine a better alternative energy for the world.

It must be amazing living in the Caribbean.  New York seems like a big transition of lifestyle from the tropics.  Are you passionate about film?  What would you want to do with it?

Heyyy... visiting my parents in Ohio right now, shall spend the summer on a farm in Massachusetts, up your way. :) Any fruit recs?

I do go to UCSC, and no I don't usually surf steamers.  The surfing I do consists of warm water and five footers. :) I tried surfing steamers once with one of my friends and nearly drowned, I definitely learned firsthand the power of nature.  Big waves don't let you off easy if you mess up.

Do you go to school on the east coast?  How's the surf there?

Hi love, yep- life is great on this end as well :). Been traveling the past 5 years. Yes, normally I stay in India for extended periods of time- am actually in the States visiting family for the moment! Fruit in India is great, though getting organic is a crapshoot. It's almost mango season there! You should take the trip and see if you really are a maniac!

Hey, no haven't been to Thailand but I'd like to go. So cal does have really nice fruit, I can basically eat locally all year round, though I tend to like to add in a bit of tropical. But we can find outstanding fruit here. How 'bout you.. Delaware? Stone fruit, apples for the summer and fall I'm guessing? Take care!
