Thanks for accepting my friend request! That's really cool you're into the barefoot lifestyle/running. I have a friend up North who does a lot of barefoot running and marathon's, etc. as well. I'm curious, do you wear barefoot shoes or sandals at all to protect your feet? How do you care for your feet otherwise?
Hi David... same here..it' s hard to find some... and there are not so many ppl following this lifestyle that' s a reason that made me join this forum. ;)

You'd need to give me the name of the test, and the results exactly as written in the lab report.
Well, LA does have a ton of organic produce markets and there are great farmers markets on weekends. The cons are that there aren't that many of "us" near where I live. I see that you are moving to Hawaii. You are going to love it there!!
David, that's awesome you're able to run again. I see your new profile picture and you look really healthy. All those miles and all those bananas! I don't feel my knee at all anymore but when I started riding it finished healing very quickly. I run with my kids almost every day playing games with them but only short distance, little sprints but the knee has felt fine with that. After I cycle for while again I will give it a try again, thanks for letting me know.
If you'd like to do that then by all means go for it! You might not think that you're "interesting" but for all you know, you could help so many people, just by sharing your own experiences. The best way to start would be to ask people who already have blogs/vlogs and who make videos and ask them how they do it. Message Freelee/Chris/DR, ask them for help and I'm sure they'll at least give you something to work with. We all want to spread the message after all. I'd definitely watch your videos and I think a lot of other people would appreciate them too. Go for it! :)
That's great to hear! I know exactly what you mean about it being boring. Ireland is the most unexciting, uneducated place you could find.. I won't be travelling for another 3 or 4 years unfortunately. At least we've got 30bad to connect with fruity people who know where it's at :)
I don't really know anything about ethylene chambers and I just get the regular bananas. The organics are 29 cents but still, same deal...the larger ones are the best deal. I'm no expert but I read somewhere that regular bananas are probably one of the best "non-organics" you can buy if you are concerned about pesticides. Something to do with the peel keeps most of it out???? I suppose there could be some systemic absorption but I am not really worried about it at this point.
Even as much as she might like to give you the bananas for free I'm pretty sure that won't happen. I think TJ's probably gets a full credit tax write off for donating them to the shelters. We turn over a huge amount of food and flowers every single day! I'd love to be able to have mine for free also but the best I can get is my discount which is 10%...love that discount though! The good news is you have a Trader Joe's and the bananas are probably the cheapest that you will find. Everyone likes to ask how much they are per pound so they can compare but it doesn't work that way. You can pick a teeny tiny banana for19 cents or a really big banana for 19 cents. Trust me, it's a great deal especially if you get the big ones! Probably the best she could do for you is to get you the ones they are going to "spoil" which is our term for items removed off the shelf. Just let her know what you want and I'm sure she will arrange for it. :)
Hi David, Yes, I am an artist for Trader Joe's. I do murals, endcap signs and artwork all over the store. It is a fun place to work not to mention that I get easy access to all the produce! We get rid of all of our ripening bananas and put our new green ones everyday. Really all of the produce is handled this way. It is all sent to a food bank. If you want those really ripe bananas ask your new friend if he/she will have the crew salvage them for you in the a.m.--that is what I do to get mine. I love having such easy access to produce!
I am sick of nyc and i want to be in florida for college. But I simply don't have the cash to go down to florida. And i can't take out a big enough loan to pay for college bcos i don't have parents that can help me out financially. So as much as I don't want to I have to stay in nyc and well, do the best with what I got. Thanks for commenting. Makes me feel better knowing that someone cared enough to acknowledge me. =)

Hey, thanks! The fruit in the UK is ok, but not as good as the US (I´m from there). Good to meet you here, and hope you are having an awesome day!

I'm stuck getting money here. There are zero jobs and my country is in an economic conundrum so I won't be leaving anytime soon :P

Hi David! Thanks for accepting! How are you? Hope life is well over in the U.S.
Peace <3
I love it here!
