They have passed the bill after many local campaigns by pet owners and some animal rights campaigners. But I don't think it's being implamented yet as I am still seeing many restaurants serving dog. Perhaps it will go underground like the dolphin meat industry in japan and people will just do it in the back labeling it as a differant kind of meat.

At present I study little besides social and political thought, but my extra-curricular interests include philosophy and history. My degree is quite broad, however, so there is much scope for an interdisciplinary approach, which suits me. I try to read the odd book on science.
Which is your area of expertise, I would be pleased to know.

Please understand my position. lol. I hear all this non sense from dr, and then I see all these comments, like: oh, we all love your tough love dr. lol.
This is because of a misfortunate thing about most people which is that they want some one to lead them and to take control and care of them.
I would resist this kind of thinking (the tough lover) even toward a very respectful man like Dough Graham yet alone dr.
I think I spent more than enough time chatting about this issue. Sorry I won't be responding anymore. I might have been rough toward you or dr, but that was all with a purpose. The purpose was not to upset anyone. Inside I have nothing but love to everyone.

I also still have some respect to DR but definitely much less than before. DR suppressed complaints about 811, he accused someone decent of promoting drugs in this forum, he thought that we are like a tribe and we should expel those who have different opinion, and he insulted an author respected by many in this forum
DR is a human and makes mistake but what bothered me more was the silence against his behavior. My post if you read it carefully carries a slight recognition for DR at the beginning, then I tried to explain why he is behaving this aggressive and insulting way. The last sentence about saying things to DR was not meant to be taken literally.
Now about your “novels” I meant those times were you tried to amplify some disagreements. It happened with Ivan before and I thought you just had a bad day then you did exactly the same with me.
The strange thing is that you faced me with great opposition but I never saw you say anything to DR. You have to say something and in public. If you don’t say at least a friendly criticism to him and in public, it doesn’t count.

I point out to what is wrong, that is what I’m trying to do. If you can't see what is wrong, then that is another problem of you. What angers me the most is that you actually think that you can tell me how to present my ideas? I bet you work as a school teacher.
Here is some ideas, use more humor, don't act as the morality police and show your face. You don't show face, name and place then you go around harassing people claiming that you have the hire moral ground. How dare you. Go find a hobby for goodness sake and stop filling this forum with your "novels"

Prad just came back from our night out at Mc Donalds. Boy they sure were tasty those commercials put me in a trance to go out and satisfy myself. Later we went for a couple of beers and told hunting stories. I hope nobody can read this.

I figured it would be easier to do a wall post than to continue a chain of replies :)
The engineers (well, engineering students) are Taylor's Tropicals and Emily (at least I'm pretty sure it was Emily), me, and you! I included myself in the total, haha.
I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do career-wise...I found the PERFECT job and I had a feeling it was mine, but it turns out I was wrong because it had already been given away by the time I applied! I don't like the idea of most engineering jobs. I was really always more interested in the chemistry and math aspects. I'm trying to get into Teach for America right now. I wanted to do the Peace Corps but you have to be an American citizen and alas, I am not one (I'm Canadian, and I see you are as well!). Right now my future is extremely uncertain!
What did you end up doing for a career? Did you ever try engineering, or immediately take a different path after you graduated?

Thanks for letting me know, I did not delete it. I went ahead and made a new reply, this is the second time I've had this happen, the other a few days ago. I think it must be technical with so many changes going on technically on this site.
