hello! this may sound very random, but I am visiting northern Argentina for a few months this fall, and I did a search to see if there was a group for 811 there, but all I found were a few comments people left mentioning argentina for some reason or another. and a comment from you popped up. Just curious as to what your experiences have been like there, if you're still there, highlights of the fruity life there. Anyway, thanks and cheers!
yeah, been to Saf. Great place, lovely ppl. My plan is to stay in London for another year or so to get more work experience, then work as a nurse in australia to eat lots of cheap, fresh, ripe, fruit. Its not amazing getting fruit here. Theres quite a few fruit markets and fruit sellers, but most of the fruit isnt edible. But i have discovered some amazing dates in a shop on edgeware rd. My best discovery since discovering 80/10/10 :)
No mangos in Brighton these days? I've been on a mango kick recently. Can't get enough! I'll have to try them blended but I enjoy so much getting "down and dirty" with a couple of ripe ones; blending just seems...dull :P
i moved here (west london) 4 months ago from hackney. i qualified as a nurse and needed somewhere quick quick to rent, so ended up living in nurses accommodation. need somewhere else to live asap......
surprisingly (maybe not) nurses are so bad with their nutrition and food choices. its crazy
Nice to meet another low fat raw vegan in the uk. It seems there's getting more and more of us.
Now all i need is to live in a flat with other 811ers. Right now i live with three meat eaters who worry that im not getting enough nutrients!!
What a joke.
Dont think I forgot about you. :)
How are you doing?
lol yes door is fixed and back to normal.
Been munching on sapotes.
What have you been munching on?

Good for you! Sounds like things are making a turn for the better :) That's awesome.
ugh, i know. I got hypothermia once, n ever since the colder the weather gets the more tired I get. The instant I walk into a cold room my eyes start drooping lol. It's hard to be motivated when you can barely keep your eyes open :)
