i love being close to the nature too. My father inherited a big farm from his father in the mountain Pelion ,outside the historical village of Milies. It'sa very nice place. Paradise...Pelion was the house of Chiron, the healer. It's the land of a lot of medicinal herbs, wild forests, pure water sources..I was spending all my summers there when i was a child. Helping with collecting apples and chesnuts (the main production of the farm, ) grapes, cerises, peaches, figs, apricots, melons, watermelons, strawberries...producing all your own food.
As I look back now it was a rewarding experience that would be great to share with some kindred spirits. I have this farm with my brother and my sister ,but have not taken the time to take care, be there and enjoy. Really enjoy hiking to that special place on the farm and watch the sunrise and sunset and then hear the sounds, breath pure prana,
Do you live in a farm in fletchertown ? what are you doing there ? tu habites depuis longtempsla-bas? Keep smiling
I love your profile too and your Spiritual force. Yes, attuning with one's Higher Self and aligning one's free will with the will of the Higher, and purifying the body with subtle food, the heart with pure love, and service to community, the mind with higher knowledge and higher thoughts, one raises the consiousness on a more subtle level. Then, as one raises one's consciousness, that of the planet raises also.
And as we attract the same. The more we evolve the more evolving beings we attract...
My friends all me 'la fore tranquille' :)
I have shared ancient wisdom with many Spiritual Teahers who have conributed to my personal growth, and i'm gratefull to all of them.
I had been Ethical Vegan for many years, before which Vegetarian for more than 20 years; and my transition to Fruitarianism is one step before breatharianism. That's where i'm dreaming of arriving one day.. I don't know if it will be in this lifetime :) )
bi-cultural families are the subjet of my PhD thesis. I'm writing a book 'Post Babel' on bicultural couples and their children.
Mmm, triple snake eh ? snakes and roosters (as is my sign) get along very well. A perfect, harmonius,, creative connetion :) My western sign is taurus. what about yours ?
is there an intersting spiritual Raw Vegan community on the planet ?
Yes, frequent mono meals throughout the day, that's how i eat. Haven't read Anne's book yet but i saw her videos on utube.I'll read it, thankyou
i'm on vacation right now in a tiny island, elafonissos, in the southest part of Peloponese, in Greece and it's the season of figs here. i collet them from the trees and i delight to eat sweet, organc figs in my meals. Have you been in greece ?
So we will keep in touch. Please write me in a bit of advance when you are coming. I will make sure to answer you with no delay, but you never know when something might come up. I'm saying this so not to ruin any plans or waste your limited time here in Bulgaria.
Thank you for undestanding my situation. I want to be most honest so as not to meslead you in any way. If there is anything else specific you would like to know about me, feel free to ask. The last thing I want is to waste your time if you do come to Bulgaria and Sofia specifically.
Yes, it would be nice to go to the markets together. I will be searching for better ones when I go back to Sofia in October..
Good luck and may things happen in the best possible way for you.. :)
I'd be happy to meet with you of course, but maybe I should have told you something important earlier. I am not eating raw right now, to be completely honest I'm not even vegetarian anymore. There are many reasons, I hope I haven't mislead you much. My profile here is very old and you've probably noticed that I am not active here. I haven't deleted it because I don't want to lose touch with this wonderful site. My goals as I have written on my profile haven't changed much but are for the far future for now. I am very young and still have a long way to go, it's hard to explain. However my interests in health and raw veganism are alive. You needed to know all this. If you still want to meet, I'd be happy to. In October I'll be in Sofia for sure.
And, yes I did come from a very spiritual place when I found this site, however so much has changed, I am in the age when I'm just getting to know who I really am..
I wish abundance and freedom, inner and outer lightness!
:) No sweat, I'm glad I could be of some help and that you are actually coming. Oh, autumn is great for apricots, pears and figs!!! I'm not familiar myself with the village Voditsa, I haven't been there, but I see you've researched it. Camping is such a wonderful experience..love it! I hope you have an excellent time! Yes, I am from Varna, I study in Sofia, but right now I'm in Primorsko (on the Southern Black see coast) for a summer job. You know, write me if you want for a possible meeting in Sofia in October. It would be nice to meet in person, it would be hard to arrange maybe, it's just an idea, but still.. I wish you all the best!
I am so sorry I haven't answered you earlier. I'm happy you might be visiting my home land, hope you find things you like and meet nice, honest people. Since it's summer fresh bulgarian fruit is available. Mainly cherries, melons, watermelon, raspberries (they're expensive), soon peaches too, divine apricots come in season later in the summer. Also imported ripe bananas at good prices. The variety is not that great, good quality exotic fruit is hard to find and a bit pointless to search for. It would be better to stick to what's in season locally. Otherwise we import from Greece and Turkey (we have very good fertile ground, but our agriculture is in a very bad condition right now, it's sad and maddening). I suggest you locate and search the bigger markets, bazaars and not the supermarkets! At some places you should see old ladies just sitting on the sidewalk and selling little quantities of their own produce from their villages. That is usually good and at a good price. The down side is that people on the markets and especially older sellers know little to no English. It would be great if you could meet someone who could translate for you, if not you should manage too, I hope. Be very careful not to get tricked with the prices. Suspect the gipsies (and the bulgarian sellers too, of course) all the time! Hold on tight to your bag and valuables, watch them, especially when in public transport! Figure out the course of the bulgarian lev compared to the currensy you are using, compare the prices on the market. If you want to buy more bulk ask for the whole-sale markets. I hope my answer is not too late and that I gave you the info you asked for. Good luck! Please right me if I can be of some help and to let me know how your stay in Bulgaria went! :)
ahhh i'd love to meet fruit folk up here... but it's only for single folk? in which i am not.. would love to meet you all tho. are the people coming from around here, or from afar?
