Hey Vicki! I am so sorry I did not get to your message before. Did you make it over to St. Pete? I actually know of a wonderful market for fruits and veggies. It's called the Mustang Market located right next to the Wagon Wheel Flea market in Pinellas Park (close to St. Pete). It's amazing with jackfruit, lychees, thai bananas, mamey, mangoes, etc. :) I really hope you get to go there if you come back over here!
Yes I have tried wild pansies and domesticated big ones too and they are both edible. The wild ones are truly delicious. The leaves of the wild ones are sweet, not as much as stevia, but I'm crazy about the taste. I love them in smoothies and salads. Also I feel that the leaves have a good amount of good fats, I love, love, love them. It's a big discovery for me! I love the music you put on your page!! Got to spend the time to do the same on mine! Hugs!
Hi Vicki. Thanks for the add. I don't know how to private message on the mobile version of the site but you can email me at email@example.com. I'd like to know a little more about our friend if it's no trouble <3
I recognized you from your thumbnail shot! As small as it was I thought "hmmm she look familiar".
I was in Maui last year about this time and I hung out in Makawao a few times. I was at the little farmers market there helping Emil sell his honey(Maui's best, he calls it). I know I at least saw you there maybe even met you.. But ya, da big island has choke fruit! U should come over and pig out! :)
