Yes, thank you. I own that book actually. I am naturally enjoying vegetarian/vegan.
When I eat vegetarian, my energies feel more open and I feel more of an ability to have compassion and an open heart. When I eat vegan, I feel lighter and healthier in general, like my system is not plugged up. For me it's all about feeling good. Have a great day.
So, where are you staying in Rio? There are a few good places to do your shopping, but i usually prefer the farmers market...and they usually happen once a week in each neighborhood. You just need to find out the day, and i can definetly help you with that! Let me know when you are coming! I am starting a LFRV group with my good friend Malu ( also here in 30 bananas) and we are promoting dinners and discussions on many subjects on the 80/10/10 life style . It would be awesome to meet you if you are here! Lets keep in touch! xox, K.
Oh No. I wish I had seen your comment earlier! I'm back in Minnesota now. :[ I would have totally taken you up on your offer to hang out and make banana smoothies. I was roaming about that day on my own, too, because my dad had to work all day. Boo. Oh well.
Totally. Funny. I'm in San Francisco, too- but just until this Friday. I'm tagging along with my dad's work and we're staying in Mill Valley. It's so lovely here. I don't want to go back to Minnesota!!!
thank you! i love sf! there is a huge farmers market by the ferry: http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/farmers_market.php. also, if you go into china town, you will find smaller produce stores with inexpensive fruit. you can also find durian in china town (if you eat the frozen type...). best of luck to you on your adventure!
