Fruit is for the most part non-native to the Galapagos, which are a series of desert islands. So there is the issue of somehow acquiring water to feed an orchard of thirsty, water-guzzling fruit trees. Fruit is human food-- the Galapagos I believe are not made to support humans. I am basically against the introduction of anything non-native, as benign as fruit seems I think that it could have perilous consequences on the eco-system. I wrote a response that explains this much more carefully and clearer, but it got deleted and I am too tired to do it again But you get the basic idea. Fruit=water problems, fruit flies, introduced fungi, bacteria, blahblah that could kill things alredy living in the Galapagos.
Heya Ted, Thanks for the friend add. Yes, I have just started HIIT training, and I'm loving it.
:-) I love www.bodyrock.tv as well and Zuzana has def been a huge inspiration to me.
How is lfrv in Canada?
lmao, yes, i'd like to think so, =).
My mother is supporting me through this because she knows what i am like on fruit vs. what i am like on other (vegan) stuff. she is currently doing some of lfrv but will go out and sadly, willingly, eat other not so good stuff for her body. But she always comes home and says something like, "Caroline, can you make me some tea and cut up some melon for me?" or "Could you make me a smoothie please?" Plus, she feels awful that night and the next day or two. Overall, she likes this way of eating much better, but sometimes says she is "weak" and not "strong enough" for the social situations like i am. Idk, because i just take almost all of the fruit there since no one else eats it, =) hehe.
WOW! sorry for such a long post about my boring home situation...and btw my father's still incredulous that i ran 5 miles in 36 minutes at the gym..(BUT IT WAS ON AN ELLIPTICAL!!! AND I WAS EXTREMELY BORED!! hehe)
lmao, yes i know..i never thought to have filmed it. i don't think i'll try it again soon, because i haven't been so active since its a bit hot out right now, (gotta love florida weather, hehe). I'm only five ft. five, so idk when i'll be doing that again. But hopefully i'll grow some more (i'm fourteen =p ). =)
