Hi Timothy
Great to 'meet' you. I am trying very hard to be high raw and doing very well or very bad in equal measures. None of my friends or family are raw and they don't fully understand why I want to be this way so it's a bit of a struggle at times as I have little or no support.
I've recently been diagnosed with Chrons disease and although I haven't been given a treatment plan yet I've already decided that I'm not taking the medication and am going to try to self heal with raw food. I've been increasing raw over the past year until I became ill in november and until recently I've had to rely on others to shop and prepare food for me so my diet was worse. I'm starting afresh this week now I feel better and am determined to get raw and beat this thing.
The photos of your family are lovely, you have beautiful childern
Hello, I see you're a tennis coach! My brother and I are training to play professionally. High performance training is definitely a big passion of mine. Have you noticed a big difference in your fitness since switching to raw veganism?
RVK, I see you're into health, nutrition, and consuming the best quality substances to maintain high performance. You def. will do yourself a favor by listening to this "old timer" dispense some uncommon Wisdom about nutrition - don't listen to anyone who tells you this info is of no value - - it's the *only* method to judge the quality of fruits and vegetables:
An ordinary refractometer measuring brix is useful for estimating the health, quality, and nature of produce. First popularized by Dr. Carey Reams in the 1950s, brixmeters are today used around the world to evaluate what you buy and what you grow.
Yeah, that's my dream-girl - a militant activist who juices me a drink each morning for motivation. Plus, they don't came any better looking :D
Lived in Barcelona for 3 months, many moons ago - quite the vibrant city...
in fact, liked it loads more than BA where i am now. no worries, i'll be leavin'
in a few weeks heading to work on a WWOOFer farm in Central America.
Need to grow my own High-density nutrient food, coz they don't bring it to me in the city :( -- I could starve here - third-rate produce....
Hey I was in Barcelona for about a week and loved it! I actually got one of those smoothies.. it rocked. I lived in France and to be honest you didn't come around a juice/smoothie bar too often. I think I stumbled upon one in Dublin once. Thanks for the add have a great weekend!
