HEy sunshine ,, Thnks, i have read a book, cold Tao of Health by Daniel Reid . He told me that eating raw is importent for the enzymes(Chi). He writes about, that we need to eat at least 50% Raw. This hase wake me up.
Then i look up raw in google and then i came to the Lifegenerator and his green juices. NOt long after being raw , I find out, that i was eating to much nuts and seeds , I saw The durian rider. NOt long after this, i went from a meateater, last summer to a 80/10/10 Raw vegan. I gain more muscle with a vegan diet and my skin started to glow like never before . I just love this lifestyle,,,, ;)
Thnks for intresst , How do you became a HCRV 811 ?
Haha thanks.. it's been two years since I first started. Mostly for athletic performance at first, and started to realize a lot of other benefits that go along it as well. I'm a college swimmer.. most of us are built like that ;) What about yourself? You look like you're doing great :)
I haven't been there for a couple months; I'm not sure whether they're taking WWOOFers. But I do believe they are still accepting applications for internships (there's a link on the website).
Well, we're out in the Hawaiian jungle, on a fruit farm that, in the right conditions, can be self-sustainable. The property's about 30 acres of usable space, with producing fruit trees covering most of it. There's all kinds of variaties, from your basic bananas and oranges to exotics like rollinia, ice cream bean and, of course, durian! We each have our own hut, which is about the size of your average bedroom, as well as a communal kitchen/living space. We're completely off-the-grid, and use solar power, rain catchment, and a bicycle-powered washing machine. We're about a mile from the ocean as the crow flies, with a fantastic ocean view about a two-mile walk away. It's pretty cool. :)
My dad's been HCRV for about 5 1/2 years now, and he founded the 811 community in Hawaii. So that's when I got into it, but I started full-on about a year after that. There's about 10-15 people at the community at any given time, but when I'm in Pittsburgh (as I am half the time) I'm it.
Hey, thanks yourself! I actually started when I was 14 (and a half). :) The only sucky thing is that NO ONE my age is doing this (or at least not anywhere near me). But at least I don't mind being the weird girl who lugs her fruit around everywhere. In fact, I think it's kind of fun.
Hello MerryEllen , Thanks for your comment ,The bike trailer, I bought the trailer in The Netherlands. The brand is universal, so i really dont know who makes those. , Good luck finding, Tip! Try to find one with low gravity, that can carry more weight. Ps Nice fruity pic's ;) gr Pat

Yep, we're on the Big Island, about half an hour south of Hilo. Here's the website: http://rawveganrunner.com/rich/moanaula/Home.html
