I just got your comment, but thank you! The lfrv diet is going well! I'm still not completely transferred over, I'm still eating some boiled potatoes but I'm really trying! I actually just made a blog post about that. Maybe you can respond to my questions if you have time :)

Thanks Rashid!! I'll try the honey and let you know. My allergies are not really allergies. My immune system attacks itself and as a result I react to everything!! I have removed some things from my diet that have made me a little more comfortable but I still get hives and rashes all over my body. Gluten is a sensitivity (but rye and barley are real and major allergies of mine), pistachio’s, cashews, romaine, green peas, raisins. Don't know what else I could cut out. And I rarely eat/drink dairy. Have a great day

I use medjool dates and enjoy them very much. Sweet and delicious.  My health food store gets them from the state of California. They are also organic.  A very happy Ramadhan to you.

Hey Rashid :-)

I think it's going okey, I try to be positive though I have experienced a weight gain and was very confused after reading Dr Doug Grahams 80-10-10 book. He has a different opinion in the consumption of carbohydrates than Durianrider and freelee...so I felt quite alone with my questionings and all the feelings that came to me.

It has been a huge travel-this one :-) And i am still in my journey...so I am hanging on....:-)

Thank you for asking me Rashid, it means a lot.

Les

Hi Rashid, sorry for the late reply.  The diet is going well overall.  I feel mostly satisfied with fruits, but I realize that I had some major denial that I am attached to cooked foods!  I am currently researching about the problems related with various non-811 foods to give myself knowledge power to dislike those old foods.  Also, I am researching raw replacement meals so I can change my cravings even further.  Thanks for the support!  How long have you been raw vegan/811/frugivore?

sorry for the late reply! No, I don't know Spanish, and I don't know what language I will learn next. I think it'll take me another year or two just to learn French!

I've been vegetarian for 20 years. I had a two vegetarian friends in their 30es who got cancer and I was shocked ... I realized that being vegetarian is not enough. So, I started to do some research and I learned that a low fat raw vegan diet can prevent disease. I'm craving cheese and yogurt ... I tried to substitute this with almond cheese and coconut/almond yogurt. But I still miss my cheese :(

Hello Rashid. Welcome!

Inshallah, I will be fasting. We will be hosting some non-Muslim visitors during the first week of Ramadan, and added to that is this unusually HOT weather and long days, so it will be a challenge this year! Thank goodness all the fruit I eat makes it a little easier. Nice to have you here.
