I went to school at MTSU back in 2001-2003.  I'm originally from the Chattanooga area.  I've been in Kansas for 4 years and i just decided I needed to move a bit closer to family and friends.  My brother lives in Smyrna so I will be staying with him for a while.

Hey Ben!

So here's this weeks price list for Albert's Organics. It seems kind of pricey, except bananas.

http://www.unitedbuyingclubs.com/ALBERTS/producelist.aspx?PricelistID=692

Let me know how the prices compare and if yours are cheaper where do you shop? I know we've talked about this before but any updates? I know you used to go to Freshpoint? What is available there and prices if so?

thanks!!!

HI Ben, All that you see on this and the www.VivaLaRaw.org site is on this farm and our local area. The fruits are so plentiful, all local, and ripely rich and delicious year round, many different ones. Travel info is at the site. Come on and dig in to a natural vacation. Have you ever had a really ripe banana? Email me at emrivkin@gmail.com.

The local produce guy in a supermarket in Meriden, CT orders them for me. I think the store is ShopRite, but I'd have to double check.

Thanks for the heads up about the kiwis. How did you find out about them? Special Price?

Where are you right now? Tropics or CT? Now that Full Belly Fruit is making momentum we should definitely get a potluck happening. It would be fun to hang out with a group of 811ers sipping coconuts, chomping bananas, along with starfruit, sapodilla, cherimoya, citrus, papaya, sapote!

I feel like MA is a good meeting point for NY, CT, NH, ME. What do you think? ANywhere else you think could work better?

heck yea my man! It will happen after the holidays, lots of stuff going on. Trying to get the fruit set up, and when we are getting copious amounts we are going to celebrate with a potluck.

Just think about it, fruity people hanging around a table with truly ripe, dripping fruit!

$6 for 40lbs of bananas is a great score.
