I saw you posted in the group raw canucks about the Calgary wholesalers and thought I would reply to you personally.
When I buy wholesale I go to a place called Krown produce. You can call and say you are interested in buying from them wholesale and they will even show you around. Everything is by the case and I get an email each week with their price list for the week and then you can call ahead of time and order whatever off the price list and they will put it together for when you pick it up. It is quite a discount since they are the ones who supply many grocery stores including costco in the city.
This is the only wholesaler I have had luck with so far in Calgary, a downside to this is they don't have a lot of organic produce available but it still works for my needs.
Hopefully this helps you and I wish you luck on your journey!
We will be more than happy to give you as much support as you need in your upcoming transition. Good luck and congradulations :) I also tried the "Dehydrated Food Diet" years ago and didn't have a forum like this at the time and I can tell you that the raw vegan diet is so much easier when you have other like-minded and more experienced people that you can talk to and when you don't have to spend all of those hours in the kitchen trying to create "raw" foods that look and taste (as well as digest) just like the unhealthy cooked foods that gave us poor health in the past.
