Thank you so much Greendoll! Your info is so precious as I have indeed struggled to find places to eat/buy organic raw vegetables/fruits when I am in Manila! Not happy either to buy in SM.

We will definitively try the restaurant and be at the market this coming Sunday morning! Am I correct about the location: Legaspi St., Rufino St., and Gamboa St ? Also, the market opens at 7:30, right?

Does your stand as a name at the market? Would be a pleasure to stop by.

May I ask if you know some restaurants in Manila (in particular Makati area) that would serve dishes close to a 811 LFHC raw vegan diet? Or restaurants offering good organic salads and fruits?

Greendoll, i will be doing an internship with PETA, i am not sure what my exact job is going to be, but i am a researcher, so i guess they will utilize those skills. I would be really grateful about your offer to show me your friend's mom's market and other stuff. 

Right now i am trying to budget. Could you give me a rough idea on how much money i would spent on fruit? For example, how much is a kilo of mangos, or a kilo of bananas?

green doll....yes, many russian fruitbats on samal island.....near bluejazz resort....approx 400meters before, in Caliclic, just ask around...there are several living there..Valentina is the main one....im headin to Kenya tomorrow.....i plan to come back to your wonderful fruity filippines asap

Makati is exactly where my internship (with PETA) and accommodation will be. So i am very glad i know someone there now to ask about markets and fruit situation. I was worried, since it seems like it is a financial place. 

Hi Greendoll!  Today Me and my friend fly to Manila , but We'll stay in Manila only  for 2 hours and then we go to Bangcock. Nevetheless there will be few friendly guys on Samal and they will be glad to see you. It's a pity i wont be able to meet you. Maybe next time in future :)

how do you survive without rice?  most filippinos die without 3 servings per day they tell me......you must eat some occasionally?  i try it once in a while to be nice....after 3 years here its not easy answering their questions of concern.........i would love to meet some of your female filippina non rice eating friends..bring to davao pretty please, eheheh
