30 Bananas a Day!

Why doesn't a red alarm go off when I'm about to be out of fruit?

It just didn't click this time.

We have a box of 150 bananas. Unripe. Hawaiian papayas. Not fully ripe. 4 Kiwis, 2 bags of sour tangerines, and 2 little plastic boxes of strawberries.

I can see how that kinda seems like a lot. At least to my mom who got insulted when today I mentioned not having food/needing to go to the store. But if she stopped munching on cooked things throughout the day she would understand that it's not enough.

Even if you have ripe fruit in bulk, it's difficult to go on with this diet without having the things you're in the mood for. The tangerines are good, but they are a tad sour and the strawberries aren't that sweet. Meaning I can't really palette a whole grip of em.

Nonetheless, I do really appreciate her supporting this diet. I'll buy some dates to balance the sweetness problem.

As far as today went, I wish I had just gone to the store earlier.  I under ate AND had cooked cheats.

But that's ok. Tomorrow will be better.

I usually buy what i'm really craving in bulk! So I honestly just want to camp out by the unripe fruit and pray for it to suddenly ripen.

But no, off to the store I go.

I hear you...was running low for one of my meals today but luckily had some dates on hand. Not sure what tomorrow will bring though. I have a bunch of unripe fruit as well - 20 lbs of apple bananas, 8 or so papayas and 4 cases of ataulfos, ugh! Hopefully some of the stuff is good by tomorrow. Tossed the nanners in a bag with the papayas and covered up my mangoes, hoping for the best :D

Yes, tomorrow will be better :D
