Breakfast: 1 wedge watermelon (we don't have more)
3 Oranges
Lunch: Big Banana-Smoothie, Dates
Dinner: 2 Mangoes + a lot of peaches
I would eat a large salad for dinner but we don't have any salad left. Maybe, if we go out tonight, I will order a big salad (and of course also eat before at home).
I just saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpP-za46_FM&feature=em-uploademail of the RawFoodWorld and found it very awesome that he said, that we maybe heal more with the things we DON'T eat than that the things we actual eat. That we don't eat all the cooked stuff and for myself it is even more the alcohol and again the coffee.
I WILL GO FOR IT!!

Comment by steffi on August 13, 2012 at 6:31am @Kate: The "we don't do retail" story is really awesome!
@rick: I experienced the same, with monomeals I feel most satisfied and as I love most of the fruits I am happy with eating them alone. Only salads ... well, I think I have to find something for this.
@Peter: Okay, thanks for the advice. I see the videos of Megan Elizabeth, who has mostly awesome recipes. And otherwise I will just try out something myself - the most delicious salad dressing happend to be with tomato and kaki (Persimmon) :-)
Comment by steffi on August 13, 2012 at 6:27am Honestly... I had nearly no appetite today and think that my body is some kind of regenerating from yesterday (alcohol) and, well, from the last weeks. I managed to eat ~ 1500 kcal and have absolutely no more hunger or appetite, so for today I will stick to it and go to the market tomorrow morning to buy tons of watermelons, bananas, mangoes (my favourite!) and veggies.
However, I drank tons of water today and relaxed for the first time in months, so for me it was a great day and I am already excited about tomorrow - the peaches are waiting for me at breakfast!
Thank you so much for your comments and support :-)
Comment by Peter Csere on August 13, 2012 at 3:53am Good start. I suggest you eat more fruit. Try for at least 2500 calories.
RawFoodWorld have some good advice occasionally, but they do recommend a lot of things we specifically disagree with on 30BAD (garlic, onions, crackao, severe calorie restriction, enemas, etc) and they also sell animal/murder industry products (glandular products harvested from various animals) on their website. So take them with a grain of salt.
Comment by kate on August 12, 2012 at 10:40pm Exactly so with the healing. Food does not heal, but the lighter load on our digestion and all bodily systems, allows the body to heal faster than when it in fighting with a toxic load.
That's why Dr Graham and others are so keen on fasting; healing can progress without the energy drain of digesting.
The raw diet takes planning; you had a good 1st day, but it was random according to what you had in. You need to shop for enough fruit and greens so you don't get too hungry; but if you do get stuck, cooked vegan is better than a total slip-up, veg are better than grains. Wheat is probably the worst.
Start looking into wholesale/bulk buying options, from a produce wholesaler or just a local store, and buy boxes or trays of an item. To get my wholesaler to take me on as a customer, I had to write a typical shopping list and thrust it at him. Prior to that he brushed me off with , "we don't do retail".
