30BaD’s Stance On Colonics and Enemas

 

Hello fellow health seeker!

 

If you are at all familiar with the natural health movement you more than likely know what colonics and enemas are. If you are not familiar with them, you can find more information on colonics HERE and enemas HERE.

 

30BaD does not tolerate the promotion of colonics or enemas nor suggesting them to other members and all posts promoting/recommending them will be deleted.

 

The reason we stand by this is because of the safety of our members.

 

Colonics and enemas are not only unnecessary on a healthful high carb raw vegan diet, but can cause irreversible damage to digestive muscles if not “properly” administered. In some cases this can result in someone not being able to have an unassisted bowel movement for the rest of their life. 

 

In addition to possibly causing irreversible damage to your body, many people become dependent on colonics and enemas and use them similarly to drugs in order to treat a symptom vs. addressing the problem. The body does all healing on it's own and shooting water someplace where it wasn't meant to only causes unneeded stress on the body. 

 

Colonics and enemas also have a negative impact on the intestinal gut flora of the digestive system. They remove vast amounts of the "bad" AND "good" gut bacteria, which results in gut flora imbalances and digestive difficulties. It makes you wonder why the people who promote colonics/enemas also sell probiotics and digestive enzymes! ;)

 

In addition to all this, the colon actually absorbs substances introduced into it. It is very popular to use coffee, garlic, lime juice with cayenne, and other stimulating substances with colonics/enemas. (Why is coffee, garlic, and cayenne stimulating and harmful? Read HEREHERE, and HERE, respectively.) Since the colon will absorb such substances, people abusing colemas are essentially substance abusers.

 

Being properly hydrated, getting enough sleep/rest, managing stress properly, and avoiding unhealthful foods are key factors in maintaining digestive health. Whole, fresh, ripe, raw fruits, vegetables, and small amounts of nuts and seeds are the only foods that humans are meant to eat. Anything else can result in digestive difficulties! Sitting in a squatting position on the toilet seat also allows for the natural position humans would be in while defecating and allows for the best elimination.

Amphetamines, also know as "uppers," definitely give a feeling of well-being. Yet, they do not bring health and, in fact, are extremely detrimental to the health. Just because something makes you feel good (at first) does not mean it is good for you. It could be that it's stimulating and enervating you and setting the stage for disease.”
