I've been raw before. I've had to quit because of a variety of issues, but I'm slowly climbing back onto the wagon of health, and I am seeing results immediately.
I'm a high school student, working on improving my SAT and ACT scores so that I can get into a good college. I've been taking ACT practice exams every day for the past 3 days, working on different sections each day. I would do a lot of grammar one day, math the next. Today was the day that I was supposed to work on the reading section. Reading analysis has always been and always will be the most difficult part of any standardized exam, especially since I'm especially oriented towards math and science rather than literature. However, I have noticed a direct correlation with the percent of my diet that is comprised of raw food and my scores. On the first day, I got a 29/36 on the grammar, and I ate maybe 20% raw. Not a bad score, honestly. On the second day I got a 32/36 on the math and ate 50% raw, but I didn't see a correlation because I'm more oriented towards mathematics than grammar regardless. I was blown away today when, expecting to get the worst score so far, I got a whopping 34/36 on the READING. I didn't understand. How in the world can I do better in reading than in mathematics? And then it all clicked. Because today I ate 90% raw. Since I ate 90% raw my mental clarity was enough to raise my should-be lowest score up higher than even my math score.
I have to say I am quite happy with the results. I got these scores without studying. If I study, who knows? I'm just happy that what I am getting right now is enough to get me into the colleges I really want to apply to.
And I just wanted to thank 30BAD. I wanted to eat more cooked foods, but every time I was able to make a better decision because of the support I have encountered in this lovely community. Thank you!
