Okay all, so i am in quite a pickle and could use some much needed advice. You see, last wednesday i was thrown off of a horse while riding and broke my wrist in like 5 places. The next day I had a plate put in, and was discharged for the next 6 weeks of summer; 2 of those weeks being my only vacation in the past 2 years (which will be spent on the beaches of cali), 1 of the days is my birthday, i'm moving out at the end of this week, and start medical school next month. Clearly, this was NOT the best time to break my wrist. On top of that, Im an avid runner and was running ~9-10 miles daily with an off day that i did Insanity (yay fruity energy!) so its understandable that i'm going insane with doctors orders to not run or do heavy exercise.
What i'd love to know is if anyone has ever had surgery (perhaps wrist) and what they did to stay in shape. Also, since i'm really inactive right now, does anyone know how i should adjust my calories? Like i said, i am going to cali and want to look good in my bikini (even tho i'll be sporting a cast), but i've already lost all definition in my abs & legs since just last wednesday (definition i worked hella hard to get!)
If ANY1 could help me out, i'd greatly appreciate it!
