Okay, I have a bit of a dilemma. I live in the mid-central region of the US, and we're creeping into the colder months. It's becoming very difficult to find fresh, high-quality fruits, mostly everything is either frozen or coated with preservatives. The best produce that's readily available at roadsides right now is pumpkin/squash/potatoes etc. I did try a mono meal of apples this morning and either they were a bit unripe or my digestive system can NOT handle that amount of apples, I was in pain all day. So, should I do my best with frozen fruits and citrus, or should I incorporate more frequent high carb, low fat COOKED meals? (vegan, obviously) I really don't know. I'm crazy about this lifestyle, so it's a win for me either way, but I could really use some advice from someone who knows what they're doing..
