30 Bananas a Day!

SO HAPPY TO FIND A LFRV FRIENDLY SITE THAT I CAN CALL MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Good evening fellow 30BAD'rs.  I am getting use to this site. It will take some time so bare with me if I am slow at responding.  This is my first posting.  I am looking forward to having supportive people along for this journey to excellent health! 

 

I studied Natural Hygiene back in the 80's and 90's.  It all made such great sense that I immediately converted over to raw food.  I had no support at home or abroad. No internet. no Freelee, no 30bad, no 80/10/10, etc.  I was ridiculed and torn apart even by co-workers, friends and even family members.  It was too much to handle and I am sorry to say reverted back to a life that was "acceptible" and Standard American Diet bound.  I regained all the weight that I had lost rapidly and stopped exercising.  My health deteriorated - no surprise there! 

 

After years of continuing same I was very ill and very overweight, depressed, you know the drill.  Finally my naturopathic physician and friend took me under his wing and got me back on the road to health one step at a time.  He and his lovely wife are 811'rs and they are examples of health and fitness. 

 

I had returned to SparkPeople.com for on-line support at first.  The more I posted about LFRVism and Doug's teachings, Freelee, Durianrider, and even Swayze Foster, the more I was subjected to ridicule and verbal abuse.  Today SparkPeople.com and I parted company gladly.  A LFRV 811'r friend of mine told me about this site and I'm here to share my journey with you all. 

 

In 3 weeks I will be daily blogging 100 days of complete adherance to Dr. Graham's 80/10/10 program.  I hope to find you all reading my blogs and cheering me on.  I love to do the same with other's journeys and will enjoy the mutual support.

Thank you Esra.  I'll be blogging about the final 2 weeks of my juice feast journey as of tomorrow.  Then, 1 week transition back to solid foods, then 100 days of 80/10/10.
