30 Bananas a Day!

Should we really CONFORM to society's norms?!

I started changing my lifestyle 3 years ago slowly eliminating the life-shortening foods in my diet (SAD diet), avoiding alcohol, tobacco and drugs.  It was the kind of change that I wanted after all those years of self-destruction. I stopped going to night clubs and I barely hangout with my friends because they still do the same thing. I've completely devoid myself of any situation that will in any way tempt me to slide back in the self-destructive mode.  I've focused my life on attaining optimal health through eating more life-giving foods.  I stepped out of the circle and saw it in a different perspective.  It was challenging and yet gratifying to find yourself very much aware and conscious of every single detail.  The things that were once considered taboo in my life, I can now face with an open mind and a strong heart.  It came to me that I was living in a fake reality, built upon fake dreams, fake career, fake food, fake beliefs, fake everything.  So I had to start anew, just like everyone else who find themselves in the same boat as I am.  I don't try to please anyone anymore, nor do I try to sugar coat the TRUTH for anyone just as I was made to believe in.  My new diet and lifestyle has purified my thoughts in a way that I can never take in JUNK anymore.  I can never be a mindless drone again just to conform to society and please everyone because I am such a good follower.  Well, never again.

Now, I have control of my life more than ever, powered by my higher self. Thank you! :)  I came to realize that we are all beings living on the verge of destruction and if we don't save ourselves we wouldn't save humanity. Everyone has to realize their fullest potential, save themselves first before they start saving others.  As Gandhi puts it "BE the change you want the world to see."  So should we really conform to society's norms? A big NO!!! We are beautiful beings, uncontrolled and FREE, if we choose to claim it back.  They have conditioned our minds so much, that if we do something that is not ethically or politically right, society will have something to say.  That being said, we rely on their words and judgment.  It's time to get out of that, and be FREE.

Start living, do what it takes to be out of their control.  Just get out of the system and listen to your inner self, the universe will put you where you're supposed to be.

It's time to feel the ENERGY.  Time to ascend to another dimension.

p.s.

You are not alone, I am going through the same process of evolution and together we will evolve with the shift of the universe.  :)

PEACE, TRUTH, HARMONY, LOVE and LIGHT.

Lovely! I read this at the perfect time. I am almost done with school and since becoming much more... awakened I guess, I'm thinking "What will I do after graduation?" Do I get a meaningless job to make debt (called money) and try to strive for empty happiness? NUH UH. I can't do it! It definitely is a struggle to pull yourself away from all these expectations, but hearing words like yours is a big help. Thank you for posting some motivation!

Hey Kenntacular, just be strong and stick with your gut.  EAT more FRUITS, rehydrate and always be CLEAR with yourself.  Nothing's more powerful than being in your most aware and conscious state. :) Peace! :)

oxabbsxo  Me too! I use coconut oil on my face and body.. Speaking of makeup, I used to do a lot of fashion shows and print for magazines meaning they put heavy makeup on my face all the time.  Now I quit doing shows and all that jazz.  I seldom do stints only if I am rest assured that I can bring or put my own make up.  Then again, I feel better about myself with or without the makeup.  It's a different feeling when you begin to accept yourself from within it just exudes to the surface of your being :) :) :)
