30 Bananas a Day!

Well, it kind of sucks that I'm on vacation and I'm bed ridden all day. I don't wanna be negative, so at least I've had a whole day to myself to explore the site and do some learning. I've tried to sleep for hours, but I just lay here thinking. So far today I have been fasting, just drinking water and hot tea. I got a bit of fresh air and sun this morning. I don't know if this is the best way to go about healing, but fruit doesn't sound appealing right now...actually no food does. I might squeeze some grapefruits tonight, but is that a good idea? much love -Briell

If I was sick right now I would probably be drinking orange juice.  It's a great choice if you have no desire to eat solid foods but you also don't want to fast either.  Even when I was a lot yonger and eating a diet of mostly junk food I would always want orange juice whenever I got sick.  (Especially when I had a sore throat.)  Grapefruit juice is good too of course. 

 

If your condition gets a lot worse water fasting may very well be the way to go, but for now juice fasting would proabably be best until you feel comfortable eating solid foods again.  Juice requires virtually no digestion at all which means that more energy can go to healing whatever is going on in your body.   I would also urge you to continue to explore this forum and learn some new things and meet some new friends while you are sick and make the most of this time.
