I think we were meant to enjoy our food. So mono meals are great for digestion but I like variety. I like a big salad with different veggies and fruit although I do best if I limit to 4 or 5 different types in one meal. Enjoy your food! Our taste buds are a gift from God. Enjoy!

Comment by JoberrySweetnRaw on February 8, 2013 at 4:50am I have only been following this lifestyle a few weeks now so I am still transitioning. I have noticed that when I am hungry I feel satisfied with and crave only one type of fruit at a time. When I eat greens I do like to combine with non sweet fruit like cucumbers and tomatoes. I was eating cooked veggies once a day a few weeks ago and had horrible bloating and no energy. I was eating up to 8 different veggies at a time for lunch and dinner. The more simple my meals are the more energy I have. My body was using all my energy to digest! Thanks for the video!
Comment by Jon Fergus on February 7, 2013 at 5:14pm Thing about our tastebuds is that they change over time. Mono meals may not seem all that appealing when our tastebuds are accustomed to high-stimulation, but when one has allowed their tastebuds to 'normalize' and return to their natural state via homeostasis, then monomeals become wonderfully tasty :)
Not that there's anything wrong with variety, but it's not really true that variety is more tasty than monomeals; it really depends on where one's at in their diet and what their tastebuds are accustomed to.
Here's a good video related to this subject. :)
30BaD note: juicing (without the pulp) is not ideal for most people, it's far better to eat the whole fruit. why?
