It is too much for me to explain why I cannot be all raw. But basically I have negative reactions to almost all fruits (except berries, pineapple, and tangerines) and I never feel satisfied on just fruit and greens. A diet high in fruit creates unstable blood sugar for me and my energy crashes and my brain won't function. So I am eating cooked buckwheat (not a grain) and steamed vegetables, raw green juice and raw greens as salad, and berries. This works so much better for me. I feel more balanced and my energy is stable and steady. My fast was a great experience and it really helped me get off the salt. I cannot do all raw at this point in my life, but I support you to do whatever works best for you.

Is this your first fast? Good Luck! Let me know how you do. I think my re-feeding problems are do almost entirely to ingesting the black pepper. If it hadn't been for that stupid mistake, I believe things would have progressed much smoother.
