My Interview as An Artist and A FRUITARIAN!

One of my dear friends I have met being abroad in Paris this semester is doing a series of interviews with artist he has met during our time in Paris, and I am his latest installment! As every part of my life, including my art, is very much inspired by this lifestyle, he asks about my diet, and i got the chance to do a little reppin' for the LFRV movement!

This was my favorite line, "the tradition of Kundalini Yoga believes that not only can we not prevent ourselves from making mistakes, but that we can not stop ourselves from making the same mistake numerous times. We must continue making the same mistake until we learn the lesson that we are intended to glean from finding ourselves in the confounding situation over and over again."

Thank you!

oh, and in regards to the people...they are so confused by the whole idea that it doesn't even seem to be offensive. I made dinner for a friend and his Parisian boyfriend (who is a cook) and when he heard that we were having a "vegetarian" dinner (my friend didn't want to freak him out with any "raw" or "vegan" or "fruitarian" terminology) he asked "so there won't be any meat?" No. "none at all?" No. "so what will we be eating?" He was very confused :) ...but he loved the meal! hehe

Thank you very much :)
Jessica--I have really enjoyed being HCRV here. it is always a new challenge to relocate anywhere and learn the local ins and outs of where to get affordable, good fruit, but it was much easier in Paris than i thought it was going to be! My last blog post goes into much more detail :) Paris was the most difficult of the few other places i visited. Portugal was the best and Spain wasn't bad either! Both had much lower prices, good cherimoyas, grapes, citrus :) mmm...i went there on spring break after a long winter of trying to scrape by in Paris on less than sufficient funds to get a good variety and caloric intake from my parisien fruit...it felt so good to eat well again that i kinda blew my budget when i got back to paris; but that's ok, my body is so much happier :)

Your artwork is beautiful. I am an artist as well and so it is nice to meets others that are living this lifestyle as well. I have always wanted to travel to Paris and all over Europe. How is living in Paris and traveling through Europe being a HCRV? Is it hard to find fruit everywhere?, expensive?, are the people you meet in Paris accepting of your dietary choice or do they think it is weird that you won't eat the local cuisine in restaurants?, are you more tempted there to eat cooked?
